Transferable credit card points can be incredibly valuable because they give you options. Instead of being locked into one airline, you may be able to move points from programs like Chase Ultimate Rewards, American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One Miles, Citi ThankYou Rewards, Bilt Rewards, or Wells Fargo Rewards to airline loyalty programs.
But knowing which points transfer where is only the first step.
This airline transfer partners chart is designed to help you quickly compare which flexible points programs connect to which airline programs. It can be especially helpful when you are planning a trip and wondering whether your credit card points could help cover flights.
At Forward Points + Travel, I help clients plan the trip itself — cruises, guided tours, resorts, hotels, custom itineraries, and group travel — and, when it makes sense, I also help them look at whether their points can reduce the cost of getting there. In some cases, clients have been able to fly nearly free using points for trips we planned together.
Before transferring points, remember: most transfers cannot be reversed. Always confirm award availability first, compare the total points and taxes required, and make sure the flight works for your real travel plans before moving points.
Want Help Using Points for a Trip?
If you already have a trip in mind, I can help you think through both sides of the planning process: the travel experience itself and whether points or miles can help with the flights.
Whether you’re planning a cruise, guided tour, resort stay, group trip, or custom itinerary, Forward Points + Travel can help you look at smart ways to use your points without transferring them too soon or wasting them on poor-value redemptions.
